After the stop of the 24 February, the Group C starts again with the big match of the 16a day, namely the challenge between San Marino Academy and Torres Femminile. Clash at the top very important for both but also for the pursuers: the leaders San Marino can not afford missteps because it could definitely reopen the championship, even in anticipation of the results that will come from Pontedera-Jesina and the other big match of Bologna day- Perugia.

The Sassari, third to -4 from the summit and surpassed by Pontedera in second place in the recovery of the day 12a (victorious for 3-1 on the field of San Paolo), must necessarily bring home the 3 points if they want to aim for the championship victory.

In 4 points, therefore, are grouped together 5 teams: tread the San Marino with 36, follows the Pontedera with 34 and the trio Torres Femminile, Perugia and Bologna to share 32. Given the direct clash between fourth and fifth, and with the Pontedera who will play at home against Jesina, sixth in the standings, the championship will face the first six of the class that can put everything in play in just 90 minutes.

For all competitors, therefore, the victory is mandatory and much will depend on the result that will mature in San Marino. The Torres Feminine, currently the most form of the league, is back from 7 consecutive victories, while the leaders has collected 6 wins and 1 draw, numbers that highlight the strength of the two teams and that give further indications on what game will be, surely very fought and devoted to the attack as evidenced by the two styles of play put on display by the two teams.

However, the Torres Femminile believes it and will go to play with it to try to get a positive result: "Sunday's race is very important because it would allow us to shorten the distance from leaders San Marino - says the president Andrea Budroni to our microphones. With a win we could get close to the first position with a gap of -1 and would have a double value on the championship: we would put in crisis the leaders who could lose the first place if the Pontedera were to win against Jesina. Moreover, the conquest of the 3 points would give us further certainty about our strength and the value of the group, a detail not to be overlooked and that would contribute to giving greater awareness to play against everyone in this championship. After a start uphill the girls are repaying very well, we hope to overturn the result of the first leg with a nice win that would give us the opportunity to continue to dream of the first place. I have total and complete confidence in girls and coach, we worked well and in total harmony in the winter market bringing to Sassari some girls who have determined our rise in the standings. Our season is very exciting and it's not over here: we have to play other 7 finals, the first is Sunday's challenge and we will try to win to keep on dreaming, so stay in the high areas of the standings and shorten the distances trying to put further pressure both to those in front of us but also to the pursuers ".

The appointment is scheduled for Sunday 3 March on the field of Acquaviva at 14: 30.
