BAVENO - ROMAGNANO 1-2
Two games, six points. The championship of Romagnano started on the right foot, there is no doubt. Even in the dreaded Baveno derby (the second in a few days after the Italian Cup) the grenades claim the greatest consistency from an athletic point of view and, just like in the previous match, take over in the second part of the race.

Compared to two Sundays, the approach was nevertheless better: at the 10 'Veronese in fact took advantage of an error in disengagement from the opponents and, face to face with Godio, he led the Romagnano into advantage. The race, at that point, became rough. Both teams have not moved back an inch and the contest has often been broken up by refereeing boos, even though the inactive balls have been little exploited. The Sesians still have a tendency to complicate their lives a little and in fact, just a few minutes from the end of the first half, the usual Martini Cerini equalized. In the second half the Romagnano took over the reins of the game and scored the decisive goal in the last quarter of the race: at the 31 'Oberoffer stretches Veronese launched into the net causing rigor and expulsion. From the spot Godio rejects Curatitoli's shot but he attacks the rebound and gives the Romagnano the top of the championship along with Lascaris and Independiente Ivrea.
