86 Rally - Masera 2-3

On the fourth day of return of the women's Serie D championship the Masera was called to a difficult trial in the field of Racconigi, where exactly a year ago he suffered a decisive defeat for the fate of the championship and had also contributed to

create a sort of rivalry between the two teams, also due to some disputes that took place outside the camp.
The match was therefore full of meaning and a victory offered to the Ossolane the possibility of overcoming the direct rivals in the standings, also trying to continue the positive streak of three consecutive results, the longest in the season.
Ready the girls of Tortora take the lead with Martina Betlamini, able to fit behind the opposing defense and beat the Turin number one with the ball that passes between the legs of this.
For the first time in the season the Ossolane seem to free themselves from the demons that did not allow it to play with tranquility, also thanks to the return of Ferraro in front of the defense, finally available after missing all the first round, and immediately build plots of interesting games that do not lead to doubling.
So soon after the home team draws: the defense of the Masera is surprised by a revival of the Turinese, with the number ten opponent good to exploit its greater speed and beat Battro with a precise left that is worth the 1 to 1 .
Masera not at all frightened and renouncing however, which returns with an intelligent Ferraro's conclusion from the edge of the area: the number four Maserese is good at looking for precision rather than force bringing forward its own.
The match then began to get tense, and there is no shortage of squabbles both on and off the pitch, but it is clear that the Masera is the master of the field while the Turinese are limited to wait in their half court trying to take advantage of the quick re-start of their number ten. In fact, you are still one minute from the end of the first half to achieve the draw with a nice turn from a slightly deflected position.
So we go to rest on the result of parity, with Tortora angry with his for not being able to realize the advantage despite the large amount of game produced.
The girls of the Masera, however, unlike the first round seem to have changed pace, and the awareness and determination with which they face the beginning of the recovery make it immediately get the new advantage with Martina Cerini, skilled to jump two opponents and to conclude with a missile from the edge of the area that is worth the new (and definitive) ossolan advantage.
The maseresi fact in fact later manage very well the favorable situation: the nervousness that takes hold during the match does not help in fact the good game, and there are no great actions to report if not some ideas of the excellent Rovereti and two conclusions in counterattack of Piolini that they could close the match prematurely.
So 3 ends up in 2 for the Masera: for an afternoon time seems to have come back to last season, when the girls of Tortora often came out of the field after these battles. The fourth consecutive useful result then, is an injection of confidence in view of the next two consecutive home matches against Asti (in the recovery on Wednesday at 20.30) and Olympic Collegno (Sunday 21 February at 14.30).
Two victories would change the perspective of the classification and confirm that the Masera is back: the season is still long and there are still many opportunities to take off important satisfactions.
