Once the "championship" chapter is over, Marsala Women's Football continues its activity intensively, involving its athletes from the football school to the first team, engaged with the teams.
Yesterday, 05 April, the girls of the Under 12 who play with the Trapani-Marsala team played the second day of the DANONE NATIONS CUP (regional phase) at the Buon Pastore sports center in Palermo as scheduled in the calendar, losing to Palermo and having the best with the ASD Balestrate.

The Danone Nations Cup, now in its fourth edition, which sees the collaboration of FIGC and Danone, is a world competition Under 12, reserved exclusively for female formations. After the regional phases, there will be the interregional phases and the final at the Federal Technical Center of Coverciano. The winner will enter the International phase scheduled for October in Barcelona.

The girls of the Under 15 who are engaged with the Trapani-Marsala representative in the national championship, Sunday 07 April 2019 at 17: 00 at the Sorrentino of Trapani, will face Balestrate and will have to replace the 2 to 0 of the first game.

During the week, the Regional Office for Female Football issued a statement with the official summons of the athletes of the Under 23 of Sicily, led by regional technician Antonella Licciardi, who will participate in the 58 th Tournament of the Regions. Marsala Women's Football is proud because it is the first team to select the number of students, as many as six. The girls of Mr. Anteri and Giuseppe Chirco who will represent us in the Tournament of the Regions that will take place in Lazio starting from April 13 are: Abbenante Francesca, Cammarata Alessia, Cartarasa Chiara, Clemente Helena, Di Stefano Veronica and Tomasino Michelle.

To conclude the calendar, on Sunday 07 April the Monreale vs Delfini Vergine Maria match will be played, the last match of the triangular which will give the name of the finalist who will clash with Catania for the Sicily Cup final.

Good luck to all our athletes who are a good example of how soccer in the pink is making headway, despite a thousand difficulties, in a predominantly male world.
