In a race suffered until the last, the Pontedera regrets the woods hit while the Arezzo celebrates the first point.
AREZZO- Within the friendly walls of the Rigutino sports field, the Arezzo Soccer Women's Team celebrates its first point of the season, won with its nails and teeth against the City of Pontedera, a team coached by a great Italian football expert like Renzo Ulivieri.

Pre-race In the match valid for the second day of the C series national championship, Mr. Paduano starts training: with the disqualification of Zeghini and Mazzini's entry into the eleven holder, the central defensive pair is redesigned with Carleschi and Razzoli . Arriving in the Arezzo area after the 4-1 inflicted on the Res Roma, Pontedera instead aims at the central CEI and Rizzato to hold the defense, on the qualities of Del Prete as a play in midfield, and on the realization of Carrozzo.

Arezzo - Pontedera. The start of the race immediately brings the amaranth stamp and surprises the players of Pontedera: in the first minutes the Arezzo in fact puts the grenade team under pressure taking advantage of the good midfield filter configured by Baracchi, Arzedi and Verdi to create play. The first opportunity is not long in coming: well fed by Verdi, Mazzini finds himself face to face with Barbieri, who manages to parry the conclusion of the outside of Arezzo with a desperate attempt. The Pontedera then wakes up from the torpor and begins to dictate the pace of the game with many horizontal passages, but the landlords intelligently await the opposing formation within their own half. On more than one occasion Arezzo manages to obscure the plays of Carrozzo and Bulleri thanks to the defensive solidity of Carleschi, Razzoli, Orsi and Mencucci. In the second half, the script visibly changes with the Pontedera, which raises the pace and tries to crush the Arezzo by raising its center of gravity. The team of Mr. Paduano manages to counter the maneuvers of the guests by setting Paganini and Gwiazdowska on more than one occasion. When we don't think about it, the defense is Ruotolo to thwart the threats as for the close conclusion of Griselli or for Tramonti's shot, rejected with a good save. The grenade also hit two woodwinds, a pole with Bulleri and a crossbar with Griselli, but on all occasions the Arezzo manages to solve in the second instance. With a time each head the balance between the two teams is also sanctioned by the race director who decrees the end of hostilities by allowing Arezzo to put in the safe the first point in the championship and to go up in the standings up to the 9 position.

"I want to congratulate the girls because they have shown a spirit of sacrifice and a desire to fight for this jersey." - said amaranthly coach Antonio Paduano in the post-game - "We had prepared the race aware of facing a well organized team we wanted to be ready for confrontation. After last week's defeat, it was important to stand up and demonstrate our true qualities. Today the girls showed a good ball game on the ground and committed themselves to starting in an organized and orderly manner ".
