The first act of the Primavera quarter-final smiled at Roma Women, able to establish itself for 2-0 at the Olivieri Stadium against ChievoVerona Valpo last Sunday. Despite the unfavorable prediction, the Clivense team led by Mr. Veronica Brutti sold dearly, yielding with honor to one of the formations credited for the final victory.

Alexandra Tunoaia, captain of the Valpo, analyzed the match of Via Sogare: «From all points of view it was a difficult race - explained the young gialloblù - first of all for their physical prowess, a characteristic that made us difficult developing our game at speed, then undoubtedly the emotional factor has had a big impact, as we have come a long way to get to here and the fear of interrupting it has manifested itself above all in the first fraction.

However, our coach's speech at the interval awakened our determination and personality, so much so that in the first twenty minutes of the second half we managed to impose ourselves, demonstrating the true value of Valpo. Shortly after, however, the second goal came and from there on we gave up a bit because we had spent so much energy trying to grab a draw ».

Sunday at 15: 00 is scheduled to return, a game that Chievo does not want to miss. "We must quickly analyze the mistakes made in order to give Rome the best of ourselves - Tunoaia concluded - it will certainly be complicated, considering the transfer factor, but I am sure that a charged team will take the field as never before. We must always remember that we are the Valpo and our courage also and above all comes from this awareness. Our strength is that we never give up ».
