* Update from FIFA

Because of the possible second round of the elections in Costa Rica, the final of the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup will be carried forward one day. The match for third place, as well as the final will now be played on Friday 4 April instead of Saturday 5 April 2014.
The Local Organizing Committee has informed FIFA about the possible turn of the elections and the requirements of the democratic electoral processes of the Government of Costa Rica, which forbid the organization of large public events in the 24 hours before the elections, including football matches.
Considering these circumstances and in order to ensure regular scheduling and execution of FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup, the FIFA Executive Committee has decided to postpone the date of the final games of the tournament.
