The 45 edition of the "Città di Arco - Beppe Viola Tournament" has officially begun, with the participation of youth formations from the Italian and international football scene and which has now also given space to the nursery for women's teams for the past fifteen years. If last week we were able to see the triumph of the Giovanissime del Tavagnacco, who defeated Verona in the final were able to conquer the Under-15 trophy, now Brescia, Res Rome, Naples and Fiorentina to contend the final victory in the Primavera category. The four teams, finalists of the 2014 / 15 youth championship that saw Rome triumph, will face each other in the semifinals on Sunday, which will compare the Lombards with Lazio on the field of via Pomerio, while the bells will challenge the Viola at Riva del Garda; the finals are instead set for Tuesday 15 March, the day when there will be the award ceremony of the winners of the various categories and the closing of the event. Big favorites for the final victory are the swallows, who have already won two editions of the "Beppe Viola" tournament, including that of last year.

The young players of the UCP Tavagnacco overcome in the final Verona and bring the trophy in Friuli
The Giovacissimi dell'Upc Tavagnacco return from Trentino with the trophy 'Città di Arco - Beppe Viola' in their pocket. The players coached by Gianni Iacuzzi have managed to win the prestigious tournament dedicated to the Under 15 teams (now in its third edition) putting in the field commitment, determination and a great desire to win. Under the blows of the Gialloblu fall, in the order, Bologna Fc 1909, Dcf Maia Alta Obermais, Acfd Imolese and Verona, the latter defeat in the final.
Yet the premises are not comforting. To complicate the way of the Giovanissime UCP Tavagnacco you put the bad weather, which forces to postpone all the meetings from Saturday 5 to Sunday 6 March. The debut of the Gialloblu, however, is immediately promising, with the beautiful victory for 1 0 against Bologna (the network is from Pozzecco). Same result for the second game, with Tavagnacco exceeding the Dcf Maia Alta Obermais thanks to the goal of Martinuzzi (one of the debutants 'on loan' along with Dieudè).
At this point between the Gialloblu and the final there is only the Acfd Imolese: despite a territorial supremacy, at the final whistle the two teams are stuck on 0 0. Coldness and preparation reward the Giovinissime UPC, who on penalties exceed 5 4 opponents. It is final. The last effort for the Friulians is called Verona. Numerous scoring opportunities created by Tavagnacco in both times of play, but some inaccuracies and an excellent performance of the extreme defender of Verona in at least four clear occasions, do not allow you to be right of the opposing team.
The result remains locked on 0 to 0. The 2016 edition of the tournament is thus decided on the rigors: concentration, athletic freshness and lucidity are the qualities that allow the Giovanissime to overcome the scales for 2 networks to 1. The merit is the work done by coach Gianni Iacuzzi and goalkeeper coach Loris Di Giorgio.
The joy of young players can so explode, running towards the forum and pay tribute to those who have followed in this magnificent adventure. "The girls were very good, especially to stay focused until the end - said Iacuzzi - play four games in a day, even if with a short time, it was not easy. In the field I saw grit, determination and good game: I'm satisfied, also because the final victory came against a great team like Verona ".

These were the Gialloblu players who took part in the tournament: Fontana, Marin, Gallo, Golob, Spollero, Castro Garcia, Donda, Pozzecco, Iacuzzi, Grosso, Dimaggio, Pitticco, Gallino, Miani, Di Blas, Di Bert, Blasutto, Dieudè, Martinuzzi
